Repair & Specialty / Connecticut
Finish the connections between floors, doorways, walls, and exposed edges with a planned trim scope.

About the work
A flooring installation meets other surfaces at every doorway and perimeter. Transitions manage those connections, while trim and moldings complete visible edges and cover the spaces required by the flooring system. The right detail depends on floor heights, movement requirements, and the surrounding finish.
Prime can include trim and transition work in a broader installation or review a specific finishing request. New pieces, reuse of existing trim, attachment methods, and paint or stain responsibilities should be agreed before work begins. A matching color alone does not establish that a molding fits the floor connection.
