The work behind the photos
Prime installed 385 square feet of glue-down luxury vinyl plank in a home in Bristol, CT, in June 2026. The photos show the new brown wood-look flooring continuing through the kitchen, living area, entryway, and connecting hallway. The labor scope also included underlayment installation, subfloor backscrewing, skim coating, and baseboard molding work.
Material installedWood-look luxury vinyl plank
The before photos show worn existing flooring with a section missing beside the adjoining wood floor. Prime's confirmed preparation work included underlayment installation, subfloor backscrewing, and skim coating before the LVP was installed.
The luxury vinyl planks were installed using a glue-down method. The photos show a staggered plank layout continuing through the broad opening between rooms and into the hallway, with cuts fitted around doorways and the stair opening. Baseboard molding work was also included in Prime's scope.
The installed floor brings the connected rooms together with a continuous wood-look finish. The after photos document the flooring installation while other room renovation work was still underway; they do not represent a completed kitchen renovation.
