Set the starting layout and fit planks or tiles around walls, door frames, and other fixed features.

Installation system
Use the specified click or adhesive system, including only approved underlayment or installation components.

Transitions and perimeter
Define expansion details, transition placement, and the moldings or trim included in the labor scope.

- Floor removal, extensive adhesive cleanup, moisture mitigation, and leveling are not automatic inclusions.
- A water-resistant flooring product does not resolve moisture in the substrate or make an entire room waterproof.
- Appliance moving, toilet removal, door trimming, and baseboard painting need an assigned responsibility.
Removal, preparation, installation components, finishing, and cleanup should have a clear owner in the agreed scope. A service guide describes possible work; it does not make every task an inclusion in every estimate.
