Establish material direction and practical seam locations around entrances, closets, and adjoining rooms.
- 02
Installation components
Specify who supplies cushion, tack strip, adhesives, and transition pieces, and which components need replacement.
- 03

- 04

Items to
discuss separately
- Carpet removal and disposal, furniture moving, and subfloor repairs are separate scope decisions.
- Stair upholstery, pattern matching, and work around built-ins can change the labor required.
- Door trimming, baseboard work, and heavy-item handling should be assigned before installation day.
Removal, preparation, installation components, finishing, and cleanup should have a clear owner in the agreed scope. A service guide describes possible work; it does not make every task an inclusion in every estimate.
