- 01
Project-specific assessment
Identify what needs evaluation and which criteria apply to the proposed flooring and substrate.
- 02
Defined testing
Confirm the testing method, locations, timing, and the information that will be provided.
- 03
Mitigation review
If a compatible treatment is suitable, define its preparation, application, and limits before it is quoted.
- 04
Installation coordination
Set any follow-up checks, cure stages, or changes to the flooring schedule that the agreed approach requires.

Items to
discuss separately
- Leak repair, drainage correction, plumbing, foundation work, and mold remediation are outside an ordinary flooring scope.
- Testing describes the assessed conditions; it does not guarantee that future site conditions will remain unchanged.
- No particular test method, mitigation system, certification, or warranty is promised without project-specific confirmation.
Removal, preparation, installation components, finishing, and cleanup should have a clear owner in the agreed scope. A service guide describes possible work; it does not make every task an inclusion in every estimate.
