Items to
discuss separately
- Removal, moisture-related work, structural repairs, and substantial leveling need their own scope.
- Sanding, staining, refinishing, and unfinished-wood finishing are not implied by an installation estimate.
- Stair work, door changes, and moving appliances or heavy furniture must be discussed separately.
Removal, preparation, installation components, finishing, and cleanup should have a clear owner in the agreed scope. A service guide describes possible work; it does not make every task an inclusion in every estimate.
